How the end of year spelling test works

1. Pick your year: Choose your school year from the dropdown.
2. Start: Click "Start test" to begin. You'll spell 5 words.
3. Listen: You'll hear the word, then an example sentence. Click the owl (it says "Hear word") to listen again.
4. Type: Spell the word in the box. On phones and tablets, use the on-screen keyboard.
5. Next: Click "Next" for the next word. On the last word, click "Check all spellings".
6. Results: See your score! Green = correct, red = incorrect. High scores get confetti!
7. Keep improving: Words you get wrong will appear more often next time.
